- Statements from the insured, witnesses and fire department investigators.
- Comprehensive documentation of the investigation and opinions.
- Obtain copies of fire department reports.
- Evaluation of fire department operations.
- Evaluation of fire department /police reports.
- Identify product liability or product recalls.
- Evaluation of possible building code violations.
- Secure evidence storage and chain of custody documentation.
- Comprehensive narrative investigation report with photographs, drawings and appropriate attachments.
- All investigations are done following the applicable guidelines established in NFPA 921.
- Examination of the vehicle exterior, passenger compartment, engine compartment, trunk and undercarriage.
